Let's catch up!

Hey ya'll! So this week, I felt that I accomplished tasks extremely early (#ProcrastinatorAtHeart). I decided to go to the library and finish a paper that I enjoyed writing. After you write so many during 4 years, it's kind of second nature. I also had the opportunity to tackle some assignments that I probably would not have started until the last minute if I had decided to do my homework at home. So with having a great week, I dedicated my weekend to Netflix, sleep, and USA Day! Sleep is great and I'm currently binge watching Criminal Minds which is very interesting, but having the chance to meet some of you at USA Day was definitely a highlight. I had the chance to speak with a few prospective students on why I love South! USA Day was extremely fun-filled! Can't wait to see you guys in the fall!

Hey y'all! My name is Reise Sherman and I am a senior here at South reigning all the way from a small town on the outskirts of Birmingham called Pleasant Grove. I am majoring in Professional Health Sciences set to graduate in December 2019. I originally came to South majoring in nursing, and over time realized that that was something that I really was not interested in. So, here I am as a Professional Health Sciences major (which is technically Healthcare Administration). With this degree, I plan on attending graduate school for Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare to be able to work with small clinics, such as nursing homes or urgent cares. A Piece of Advice....

One piece of advice that I would have definitely given myself 4 years ago when entering college would be organization. If you are coming to college and you are highly organized, I commend you because that high school to college transitions was stressful in terms of staying on top of things. Definitely go ahead and practice those good habits of buying a planner, using your calendar and reminders on your cell phone, or even rewarding yourself when you complete your set amount of goals for the day. Outdoor Adventures :)

Hey you guys! It's spring time here in Mobile on campus.... well, most days but one of my favorite outdoor past time activity to partake in would have to be relaxing in the pool. Whether it is at the Campus Rec or at a friend's apartment complex. I enjoy going to the pool because it feels great to have some Vitamin D to warm you up and nice, blue water to cool you down. It serves as a great area to study or even take a break from studying. My all-time favorite area about the Campus Rec pool is the whirlpool. It is especially great with friends! Make sure to stop by and check out the Campus Rec pool and maybe I will see you there!
